The bath salts are beautifully feminine with hues of pink and purple, and the dried lavender flowers really add to the beauty. If you’re asking me, they’re just the thing to pursue everyday happiness, warmth, and comfort.
DIY Bath Salt Ingredients:
¼ cup pink Himalayan salt
¼ cup Dead sea salt
1 tablespoon lavender flowers
15 drops lavender essential oil
10 drops vetiver essential oil
5 drops frankincense essential oil
Hygge Bath Salts Recipe:
1. Combine ¼ cup of pink Himalayan salt and ¼ cup of Dead sea salt in a medium glass or ceramic bowl (steer clear of plastic bowls when making bath salts).
2. Next, add 1 tablespoon of lavender flowers to the bowl and stir to combine.
3. Then add the hygge mindset essential oil blend with 15 drops of lavender, 10 drops of vetiver, and 5 drops of frankincense.
4. Mix the essential oils into the bath salts to thoroughly incorporate them into the salt mixture. And pour the bath salts into two small glass airtight containers until use.
How To Use Bath Salts For Hygge:
There’s nothing like creating a magical bath of grounding frankincense, uplifting vetiver, and calming lavender. It’s like being wrapped up in a warm hug. Enhance your experience by leaving your phone elsewhere and lighting an aromatherapy candle to create a space for relaxation and reflection.
Pour 2 to 4 tablespoons of the hygge bath salts into warm running bath water. Then slip in to enjoy a cozy essential oil-infused soak, easing muscle tension, softening your skin, and promoting restful sleep.
