How Do You Infuse Bath Salts With Essential Oils?

Through the precise combination of ingredients, such as course sea salt, grounding sage essential oil, invigorating eucalyptus, and lemongrass essential oil, among others, you can infuse bath salts to promote relaxation and rejuvenation.

And the first step is learning how many drops of essential oil per cup of bath salts!

Eight to ten drops of essential oil per cup of bath salts is an ideal ratio.

However, you can use as many as twenty drops. And you can refresh bath salts that haven’t been used in months with more essential oil.

Do you need a carrier oil for essential oils in bath salts?

Usually, anytime you apply essential oils to the skin, you need a carrier oil to “carry the oil across the skin,” diluting it for safe topical use. But, when it comes to bath salts, it’s not necessary.

The essential oil will be thoroughly diluted in bath water before use.
