Can you add essential oils to Epsom salts? Yes! You can absolutely add essential oils to Epsom salts. However, if you’re looking for an alternative you can also use coarse sea salt, dead sea salt, Himalayan salt, or pretty much any salt you have on hand.

What essential oils can I use in bath salts?
You can use almost any essential oil. But first, think about what you want to accomplish with your bath, be it relaxation, invigoration, or a soothing of sore muscles. From there it’s easier to decide what oils to use.
Just make sure before using any oil to check for specifications such as photosensitivity. (Meaning it wouldn’t be good to have this oil on your skin and go out into the sun.) Check out our printable lists of the best skin-safe essential oils to use here.
