How do I make my body spray last longer?

The first step for how to make a body spray last longer is to add alcohol-free witch hazel and vegetable glycerin. These body spray ingredients give the essential oils something to bind to and emulsify, which significantly helps retain a longer scent.

Secondly, you should pay attention to where you spray your body spray. Many of us just spray it into the air and then walk into or spray it on our clothes. While you can spray this DIY body spray on your clothes and hair, for that matter, it will last longer when applied directly to the skin.

Another trick for a longer-lasting scent is to apply a body spray to your pulse points. These are the points on our body where our main blood flow is very close to the skin’s surface. Sometimes, these points can be seen by blue or purple veins. Each area is naturally warmer than the rest of our skin and can give our perfume or body spray a little boost of strength. Using pulse points is also a great way to smell good all over without over-applying body spray.
