12 Ways To Use Essential Oils This Year
Here are twelve ways to use essential oils this year with a monthly essential oil uses guide. Find tips, essential oil DIYs, and diffuser blends too.
With the shifting of the year and seasons, so too do our needs shift when it comes to all things oils. As I plan ahead for the new year, I begin thinking about what essential oil uses would be helpful each month. You can scour the internet for hours and find countless ideas but still have no plan.
So, I decided to make one myself and share it with you. If you’re new to the essential oil world, you’ll find it helpful to know what oils are ideal in each season. For example, you probably wouldn’t want a warming bath bomb in the already overheating summer. Even as a fall fanatic, I would agree pumpkin spice is best left in its respective season.
If you’re a regular oily mama, like me, then you probably know all these tips already, but wouldn’t it be nice if there was an organized list of ways and ideas to use essential oils throughout the entire year? Well, that’s exactly what we’re going to do. As you fill in your calendar with birthdays, school breaks, appointments, and reminders, why not add a fun essential oil DIY?
From a chapped lip remedy in January to spring cleaning in April and into the joyful festivities in December, find a unique way to use essential oils all year!

What can I do with my essential oils?
Some oils can be used to help with sleepless nights, while others can make you feel more awake than two cups of coffee. You can do many different things with essential oils, from easy diffuser blends to creative bath bombs. There is an essential oil for just about anything, whether you need a little relaxation with lavender or want to make clever homemade gifts.
And if you’re wondering if you can use essential oils on your skin, you absolutely can with most of them. However, it’s always smartest to check first before putting a new oil on your skin.
